A tool is only as honest as the list of people it turns away. A cross-border workspace is not for everyone, and saying so saves everyone time. Here is who it is built to serve, and where it does not fit.
Who it is for
The clearest fit is the operator whose work already crosses borders or already runs through agents:
- Founders and small companies running one or more activities internationally.
- Sole traders and individuals who need a structure that consumer tools cannot give them.
- Companies with agents that execute payments within defined policy.
- Agent platforms and developers embedding units through an API, OpenAPI and MCP.
- Institutions — banks, EMIs, payment institutions, MSBs, card issuers and acquirers, local rail providers and regulated digital-asset providers.
For these users the workspace answers a real question: how do I run a defined activity across markets without a company in every country and a vendor for every function?
Who it is not for
Three groups should look elsewhere for now.
First, anyone who needs a deposit-taking bank account in a provider's own name today. SUPA is not yet a bank; it does not take deposits or hold client money in its own name before it holds a banking licence, and balances sit with licensed partners.
Second, anyone expecting a single structure to work identically in every jurisdiction. Cross-border reliance is not permitted everywhere, and local-law limits are checked per jurisdiction.
Third, anyone looking for regulated advice bundled into the product. The workspace provides structure and records, not legal, tax or financial counsel.
The honest middle
Between those edges sits the majority of operators: those with a defined activity, a willingness to keep records, and a need to move money across borders without a corporate footprint in each market. For them a unit is a working perimeter, available in minutes, with checks applied once and reporting produced per unit.
In short:
- Built for founders, small companies, agent-driven businesses and institutions.
- Clear fit where work crosses borders or runs through agents.
- Not for those needing deposits today, or a single structure valid everywhere.
- Structure and records — not regulated advice.
